Raisa Adil Appointed as Principal Information Officer

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has appointed senior Information Group officer Raisa Adil as the new Principal Information Officer (PIO), following a series of administrative changes aimed at strengthening the government’s communication framework.
Raisa Adil, a Grade-20 officer, previously served as Executive Director General in the External Publicity Wing. She will now lead the Press Information Department (PID), where she will oversee the government’s official communication and media engagement across the country.
As part of the latest reshuffle, Muhammad Shehzad, also a Grade-20 officer, has been appointed Director General, Press Information Department (PID), Islamabad, after serving as Director General of the Digital Communication Department. His appointment has taken effect immediately.
Meanwhile, former Principal Information Officer Mubashir Hassan has been assigned as Director General of the Digital Communication Department. A seasoned Information Group officer, he has previously held several senior positions, including Managing Director of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The latest appointments reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen public communication, enhance digital outreach, and improve coordination between state institutions and the media.
